DapperTee is a StartX — a startup with a difference. StartX has all the tenements of a startup, except the age (50 and above) of its founders and their experience of more than a couple of decades.

Our story begins in the late 1980s, when Dino and Nits were embarking on their journey in the textile universe. Dino manufactured apparels while Nits sold them — they met, did significant apparel business together, but as different entities.

Time passed and they moved on to different paths. Dino became an e-commerce entrepreneur, building ventures that bridged technology and trade. Nits became a leading retail consultant in the textile space, shaping brands like Spykar among others.

Decades later, they met again and asked each other a simple question: what if we finally did this together? The textile universe — which was their true calling all along — was waiting. That conversation became DapperTee.

The Journey

Decades in the

Late 1980s

Two textile professionals meet. Dino manufactures apparel. Nits sells it. A partnership begins — separate entities, shared universe.

2000s

Dinesh Goel transitions into e-commerce entrepreneurship, pioneering digital retail at a time when India's online market was just beginning to take shape.

2000s–2010s

Nitin Khanna builds a reputation as one of India's foremost retail and franchise consultants. His work helps define store strategies and brand identities for major Indian fashion labels, including Spykar.

The Reunion

Decades later , the reunion was facilitated by Sachin Khanna. Dino and Nits meet again. Both successful in their separate paths, both pulled back to their true calling. The conversation that started DapperTee.
